How To's

I’ve totally been there done that & could have wrote a book about it.

“Leave your pimples alone” Mom says... but it’s so HARD to not try & drain that nasty red bump when it stares directly in our face every time we look in the mirror. Most acne products on the shelves either take too long to work, or they don’t work at all and as beauty addicts we want to see immediate action! It sucks when the ONLY products that work are either overpriced or prescribed by a doctor.

Here is a quick fix you can DIY at home: hydrogen peroxide. And we all have a bottle of the stuff in our bathroom cabinet, and if you don’t the dollar store does for 1 dollar!

This is how it works:

Hydrogen peroxide is a temporary acne fix. It doesn’t cure your acne issues, but it will treat the symptom for the moment.  Be careful if used too much it can damage your skin & dry it out severely!

Now this is how it works;  hydrogen peroxide works because it kills the bacteria on your skin that’s causing those ugly pimples. It also oxygenates your pores, which helps prevent future pimples by creating an environment where those nasty bacteria can’t live.

Follow These

1.    First clean your face with a mild soap or cleanser. Once all dirt and oils have been removed from your skin, pat dry with a towel.

2.    Soak a cotton ball hydrogen peroxide, and apply it to your individual acne pimples. You can also apply it to the rest of your face to help prevent future breakouts, but be warned—doing this too often can result in drying out your face, and it is NOT a permanent solution.

3.    Sit back and let the peroxide do its work! It’ll start bubbling up, killing those bacteria and drying out those pimples.

4.    Once the bubbling stops, rinse your face with water.

Warning

Make sure you’ve pulled back your hair, or wear a head band. You do not want to splash the hydrogen peroxide on your hair because it will bleach your hair.

Hydrogen peroxide is a quick affordable way to treat acne. But it’s only a temporary solution to the problem, it should only be used for emergency purposes only!!!

Have you tried this before?
